Date Night
Patrick had a date last night with a one year old named Kate. Didn't he look snazzy? Too bad Kate passed out at 8:00, just an hour after their date began!

Great News!
We had our follow-up appointment with the ENT today and Patrick doesn't have to get tubes! YAY!!! He also passed his hearing test this time, so we are all very relieved! Okay, buddy...no more excuses for not saying "ma-ma"!!!

First Steps!
When Patrick was an itty-bitty baby, I read somewhere that babies will often not sleep well the night before they meet a significant developmental milestone. Well, Patrick was wide awake (for no apparent reason) from about 12:30 until 2:00 last night, so when he woke up this morning, we told him he better walk today! This video is of some of his very first steps. He is up to about 10 at a time now! Go Patrick! Sorry about the sideways video - can't figure out how to turn it!

11 Months at the Lake!
I didn't forget about Patrick's 11 month birthday! We were at the lake and I didn't have a way to update the blog. I had the best intentions of bringing up his "11 month" birthday sign, but I forgot and had to improvise! 
Patrick enjoyed spending some quality time with his Grampa from California over the 4th of July weekend!
I will try to upload pictures from our trip to Cancun later today! "Patricio" had a blast!!!
