Chicago!

We had a blast in Chicago! Patrick had so much fun being spoiled by Ana, Drew, Kelisha, and Aaron. The trip started out a bit rocky when we got home from dinner the first night to discover that Patrick had a temperature of 104.1! Luckily, we were staying in Ana's sister's apartment which is on the Northwestern med school campus. We walked out of the front door, across the street, and into the ER. Looks like Patrick has another ear infection. :( Can you tell Devin is tired in this picture?Patrick was ready to roll on Saturday, so we took a boat tour of Chicago. It was an architectural tour where they pointed out all the buildings. Patrick was very impressed!

Next, we explored Navy Pier and found some really FUN mirrors! Check us out!

Patrick had fun playing in a fountain with Daddy!
Patrick loved "The Bean" and kept trying to figure out how to get to that other baby!
We took a bike ride from Navy Pier to Lincoln Park on a quadcycle. Patrick rode in a basket on the front. He fell sound asleep on the ride back!
It's hard work being a tourist!

We had a great time in Chicago! Thanks for having us, Ana and Drew!

Could he be the next Jackson Pollock?

A Picture Story By: Patrick

Hmmm...this is interesting. Wonder what she wants me to do with this?

Now that I've put some on the paper, I think I will add a little to the toilet. Yep...that looks good!

I'm getting pretty darn good at this! If only I could tell my leg from the paper...

Done! Masterpiece!

Shhh...don't tell Devin what he is getting for Father's Day!

10 Months Old!!!

This has been the biggest month yet for Patrick as he has learned to crawl, stand up, cruise along furniture, and climb stairs. He is SO happy now that he is on the move! He has also enjoyed some time in our neighborhood pool. We think we have heard a few words now and then, but the only 2 that he repeats over and over are "hi" and "dada". I saw him look at Bailey and say, "doggy" this morning! Climbing the stairs is his favorite past time (we've bought the baby gates, they just aren't installed), so I decided we would take a few pics to show off his new talent. Oh, in case you haven't heard, Patrick is MOST excited because he is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! His best friend will be delivered right around Thanksgiving!
